Wearing ALINE
How does ALINE actually work?
ALINE clips between your shoulder blades and gives a gentle haptic pulse the moment you slouch forward — the same way a coach might tap you on the back. Over time, your body learns to catch itself, so good posture becomes a habit rather than something you have to think about.
Does it hurt or shock me?
Not at all. The feedback is a soft vibration, roughly half the strength of a phone notification. It's a quiet reminder, never a shock or a jolt.
Is it comfortable to wear all day?
Yes. ALINE weighs about 12 grams — lighter than most watches — and the contact pads are made from breathable, skin-safe silicone. Most people forget they're wearing it within minutes. You can wear it on bare skin or over a light base layer.
Can I wear it under my clothes?
Absolutely. It's slim and discreet, designed to sit invisibly under a t-shirt, shirt, or dress.
How long until I notice a difference?
Most people feel more aware of their posture within the first few days. The habit typically starts becoming automatic somewhere between week two and week three. Everyone's different, so give yourself a couple of weeks of consistent wear.
Is there an adjustment period?
There can be. In the first few days the pulse may feel frequent — usually because it's catching how often you were already slouching. As your posture improves, the reminders naturally become less frequent. That's the device working as intended.
How long does the battery last?
About 7 days of all-day wear per charge, and it charges fully in under an hour via USB-C. No app required to use it.
Is ALINE a medical device?
No. ALINE is a wellness product designed to help build better posture habits. It isn't intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you have a medical concern, please check with a healthcare professional first.
